When designing and building our e-bike series, we looked for the very best. That’s why we started from the Shimano Steps E6100 motor, a battery with a standard capacity of 504 Wh. This model is a great one for feeling an adrenaline inside the nature.
Shimano Steps E6100 mid-motor is a great choice among e-bikes. It's a universal for both roads: smooth and unrough. Capacity and battery type is 504 Wh. Intelligent assistance provides a very natural driving experience . The motor is mainly intended for touring and sports e-bikes. The engine also offers a Walk Assist mode , when it supports the e-bike when pushing it even uphill.
The power unit saw many innovations . The shape corresponds to the shape of the compact and light e-MTB (E8000) but with greater rigidity and better energy transfer . These combined improvements reduce drag and provide a 20% increase in engine efficiency. The 8 gears are also from Shimano and belong to the Alfine series. These Alfine gears are specially designed for heavy workloads and are easy to use. It is important to ride fluently, but it is at least equally important to be able to stop quickly. This is why our Steps e-bikes are always fitted with hydraulic disc brakes. These brakes ensure a constant and resolute braking force.
We offer several frames and over 10 colours, you choose the fenders, the carrier, the chain guard, the tyres, … and you can opt for a matching leather cover for the battery. You can also freely determine the lighting. You can opt for AXA’s e-bike lighting or Supernova’s super-deluxe lighting (incredible light yield).
